About me

I am Laxmi. I am a motivated and passionate professional with 4+ years of work experience in Software Development & Engineering. I recently graduated with a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (May 2023). During my Master's, I worked with Beyond Limits AI as a Software Engineering Intern in the Summer and Fall of 2022. Before joining USC, I worked at HSBC as a Senior Software Engineer. I was Technical Lead for an Integration Project supporting critical business products.

I have excellent coding and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Java, Python, and C/C++ and have strong fundamentals in core CS subjects like Data structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Databases. I am a good team player and have leadership qualities.

    Worked as a Summer 2022 Intern followed by Part time Internship during Fall 2022. Contributed to creating new features, revising codebase for backend and frontend modules. Developed Microservices to improve multi-user scalability for file uploads using Java, Spring Boot, Amazon EC2, Amazon SQS, and Redis MQ. Designed a common structured logging library using Java, SLF4j, Logback, and MDC.

    Senior Software Engineer, Location: Pune, India

    Built APIs and Microservices using Java, Spring Boot, ActiveMQ, OAuth2, and OpenAM. Composed and delivered complex integration modules, batch components utilizing automation tools and solutions.Batch implementations for projects using Java, PostgreSQL, and Shell scripting. Supporting Production environments and handling deployments. Groovy script implementations for streamlining Jenkins pipelines for the projects and integrating Ansible, Checkmarx, and SonarQube CI/CD tools.Security champion representative of the Project team.
